WATCH: Blondie's Deborah Harry and Arcade Fire Perform 'Heart of Glass'

Blondie's Deborah Harry joined indie-rock band Aracde Fire onstage for a performance of 'Heart of Glass' last night.

'Blondie Headlines' recently reported that chart-toppers Arcade Fire covered Blondie's 1979 multi-million-selling monster hit 'Heart of Glass' on their current tour. Blondie front-woman Deborah Harry is clearly a fan of the modern band's rendition of the track, as the platinum blonde teamed up with Arcade Fire's female vocalist Régine Chassagne for a sisterly performance of it at last night's finale of The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Annual Festival

Get Excited! Blondie 4 (0) Ever Roll Out Begins With French Pre-Orders!

Blondie's new double album 'Blondie 4 (0) Ever' is available to pre-order on Amazon.fr.

The new double album, which contains their tenth studio album 'Ghosts of Download' and an album of re-recorded hits entitled 'Greatest Hits Redux Deluxe', was posted onto the French version of Amazon today.

According to the website, 'Blondie 4 (0) Ever' will be released on 19 May and will be available in standard and deluxe editions. The latter will include a DVD of the band live at CBGB in 1977 plus a 28-page booklet, 5 photo prints taken by Chris Stein and a vintage concert poster from 1979.

Make Your Sound Stand Out

“The downtown New York scene in the ’70s was competitive, but it was also very familial too; everybody was really close and in various cliques. We were always very eclectic… It took us longer to figure out a sound – the Ramones and Talking Heads had a very narrower focus about what they were doing, style-wise. Our stuff was all over the place – for years we were feeling around and experimenting. Maybe that helps, I don’t know.”

Canadian Indie Rock band Arcade Fire turned disco last night, performing a rendition of Blondie's 1979 Transatlantic chart-topper 'Heart of Glass'.

Arcade Fire - who are at the height of their popularity at the moment, with both of their last studio albums having reached #1 on both sides of the Atlantic - have been treating their fans to a range of covers on their current 'Reflektor Tour', such as Stevie Wonder's Motown classic 'Uptight (Everthing's Alright)', Prince's early hit 'Controversy', Boys II Men's million-seller 'Motownphilly',  INXS's US#2 'Devil Inside' and fellow Canadian band Constantine's 'Young Lions'.

It's no secret that Deborah Harry has had relationships with both men and women. However, during a German interview - published on The Daily Mail's website - the often-blonde songstress was asked whether she is bisexual or not. "Yeah,"  she answered, "Let’s say women are more sensual."

After declaring that her most enduring relationships have been with men - including a long-term one with Blondie's Chris Stein - Deborah revealed that she's on the look out for another partner: "I don’t know if I have any specific requirements, just somebody nice, who has a good sense of humour and loves to have sex. What more could you ask for?’

Blondie's Brand New Single 'I Want To Drag You Around' Gets Its World Exclusive Play On Britain's BBC Radio 2

Blondie, whose new single is 'I Want To Drag You Around'
Britain's most listened-to radio station, BBC Radio 2, premiered Blondie's brand new single 'I Want To Drag You Around'.

The track, written by Kiwi band The Dukes - was given its world première on adult contemporary station BBC Radio 2. Very shortly beforehand, the station tweeted that the première would occur during radio presenter Ken Bruce's morning segment: "So, Ken Bruce has a special treat for you today, a world exclusive play of Blondie's new single, 'I Want To Drag You Around'."

Deborah Harry To Star In Celebrity Autobiography Next Month

Beauty icon Deborah Harry will join the starry cast of funny stage show 'Celebrity Autobiography' in May.

The Blondie mainstay will join actor/comedians Janeane Garofalo, Scott Adsit, Mario Cantone and Rachel Dratch for two dates of satirical stage show 'Celebrity Autobiography' in New York.

The 3rd and 5th of May shows featuring the 'Backfired' singer will see the cast perform in a variety of of jaw-dropping vignettes inspired and torn straight form the pages of the most unforgettable autobiographies, tell-alls and more, icluding those by Justin Bieber, Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus and Tommy Lee.
